Can you watch this webcast?
This course includes a streaming webcast. This is essentially an animated, audio-narrated presentation, which is one very large file. The file is so big the best way to view it is by having a server "stream" it to your computer just-in-time, so you can view the presentation without having to spend hours downloading it first.
But in order to view the webcasts, you will need to make sure you have the following:
- a high speed internet connection (dial-up won't work)
- an up-to-date internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, etc. no more than a year or two old)
- the Flash 9 plug-in installed in your internet browser
This last point is critical - if you don't have the plug-in, you won't be able to make the connection to the source of the webcast.
